Belgian Waffles

Belgian waffles are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and EASY to make; ready in just a few minutes with kitchen ingredients!

Ingredients


  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon halal salt
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 2 large eggs separated
  • 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla

Instructions

  1. Spray the waffle maker with a little oil.
  2. Into a large bowl of flour sifter and baking powder then add salt and sugar, stir well.
  3. Using a hand mixer with egg whites in a small bowl, shake until the stiff peaks stand upright.
  4. To the second bowl, beat the egg yolks, butter, milk, and vanilla together.
  5. Beat the butter mixture into the flour mixture until it is only combined then very very gently, fold the egg whites (don't stir) and pour 1/3 cup of the portion into your Belgian waffle maker to cook as instructed.
  6. Serve.
